Michael Goering is the Senior Pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church in Bentonville, AR. He is an ordained minister and gifted Bible expositor, who has spoken nationwide as a guest preacher in a variety of settings.
A man committed to reaching individuals intellectually through deep, abiding Christianity, through a commitment to the Bible, the central focus of his life’s work is to engage culture with the message of Jesus Christ. He is rooted in the truths of orthodox Christianity and is gifted to speak to the contemporary culture with clarity through a keen cultural awareness and knowledge of the power and relevance of the sacred scriptures.
In 2019, Pastor Michael and Bethel launched a global media ministry that can be heard on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast called "In The Word with Pastor Michael Goering."
He and his wife Adrienne have been married since 2003 and they have two sons.

Robert Smith, Jr. holds the Charles T. Carter Baptist Chair of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School where he teaches Christian Preaching. Previously he served as the Carl E. Bates Associate Professor of Christian Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
He has written the book, Doctrine That Dances: Bringing Doctrinal Preaching and Teaching to Life (B&H Publishing Group, Nashville: 2008), which was selected as the winner of the 2008 Preaching Book of the Year Award by Preaching magazine and 2009 Preaching Book of the Year Award by Christianity Today’s preaching.com. In 2010, Preaching magazine named Doctrine That Dances one of the 25 most influential books in preaching for the last 25 years.
He has spoken at more than 100 universities, colleges, and seminaries in the United States, Great Britain, Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.

Jody has shared his songs in some of America's greatest churches and venues, including the Brooklyn Tabernacle, Shadow Mountain Community Church and the historic Ryman Auditorium.
